3-man Tourney at Fullyen Trading!

As this is the first time we are having a tag-team tourney for WIXOSS, we have several new measures implemented. We have also adjusted the format based on feedback from previous tournaments.

READ THE FOLLOWING VERY CAREFULLY:

This tournament will be played by teams of 3, which can be decided upon by the players when they register. Do not worry if you do not have a team of 3 as you can still register, but do so early so that we can match up the remaining players who do no have teams.

Next is new timing format which we will be implementing. At the start of the game, both players will have a total time of 20 min each. Upon starting his or her turn, the timer will begin to run, and will be stopped once the turn player declares the beginning of the attack phase. The attack phase will not be timed. When the turn passes to the opposing player, the respective timer will then begin to run. As such, there is no limit to how long a turn can be, but a limit to the maximum time that you have.

If an opponent requests for the effect of a card, the turn player may pause his or her time to explain. Also, the turn player is allowed to not shuffle his deck if he is doing multiple searches in one go (search into search). Once the turn player is finished, the opponent is only allowed to cut the deck up to 3 times.

Intentional delaying of time will be subject to immediate disqualification.

Finally, we will be adding a twist the timing rule: As all 3 players of the team will be playing against the opposing team at the same time, if 1 game finishes with a player having 10 min on his timer remaining, he is allowed to gift this time to his team mate and extend his timer. This is only to be done and verified in the presence of the judge. This is to throw in a curve-ball as to how players will decide on their teams. Evidently, teams who have LRIGs of differing game speeds ie. Hanayo, Yuki, Mido, will have a significant advantage in this format. Fast decks will be able to provide extra time for their team mates who have long 'thinking phases'.

This is done to encourage players to try differing LRIGs so that the game becomes more varied and to discourage people from going triple Mayu or Piruluk/Ulith/Eldora in one team or any similar nonsense. Of course if you insist on using these cancerous time consuming team combinations, feel free to go ahead.

With that said, I'll leave you to start forming your teams and we're looking forward to an exciting tag-team tournament at Fullyen this Friday!

Feel free to leave questions in the comments section

All the best, and have fun!
