2016 - A Wixoss Year in Review
Firstly, Happy New Year!

I guess that is enough languages, moving on. 2016 has been a great year for Wixoss, especially in the Singapore scene. We started off the year with WX11 and ended the year with WX16, meaning 6 boosters worth of meta shifts. Oh the agony. In the meantime, we also had of pre-built decks released so that new players can get into the game quickly. From the movie TDs, WXD13 and 14 to WXD20, it was a whirlwind of new cards being introduced to Wixoss. In non-TCG news, Wixoss had a new anime season with Lostorage incited Wixoss with more despair until Yukime died twice.
Moving on to the local scene, we finally had support from Takara Tomy in Singapore with Wixoss Parties being introduced. Starting the year off with the same few tournaments at Full-yen and Sydney to many shops stocking and having tournaments was definitely a big hit. We had many large scale tournaments this year as well, from the cancer White Day tournament, to Sydney's last tournament, to Jin Senpai's National Day tournament, the Eve of Carnival Party and of course, who could forget the bloody 2-stop rushed Wixoss Qualifiers. Jin Senpai too stronk, teach me!
Moving on to the meta, in 2016, as I'm sure you all know, we spent a good time in the 1st half of the year getting 7 ener burnt all day everyday by Yuzuki. It did not help that it could not die at Level 4 with 3 Life cloth and who in Takara Tomy had the right mind to give it more support. Holy! That was a very cancerous cancerous meta. But you know who else is more cancerous? When the Wixoss Parties started in Singapore, this player began dominating with 2-stop Hanayo until we were all Gunshot-ed to death. Mr Jordan "Schooling". [Damn Gay!] Ending the year off, we have more cancer with the new Lostorage LRIGs can never hope to fight, our dear Piruluk APEX. Exceed 2 for days. Days!
Enough of my complaining, let's move on to our hopes for 2017. I'm sure you all have heard that we old LRIGS (i.e. non Lostorage LRIGS) will be getting coin support. Who knows, your next waifu might be getting some coins next! Also W Decks have been announced which support both a selector LRIG and a lostorage LRIG. Starting with Guzuko X Ulith, releasing in April. Hoping that a Yuki X Doona one might come out! *crosses fingers* Looking forward, WX17 , as well as WXD21 is coming out really soon and spoilers for cards have been released. Carnival seems to be a force to reckon with and New Piruluk better than before. (Peeping seems broken as well, get rekted).
Well, that's about all my rants for the year. From all of us here at Wixoss SG, we wish you all a Happy New Year. Do continue supporting Wixoss by buying boxes or packs, participating in Wixoss Parties and doing your part to build up the community. We have come so far, so let's strive on. Hopefully the meta will be more spread out and not end up with Yuzuki/Piruluk at 25% of the played decks again.
